Wilma R. Mansfield


Wilma R. Mansfield, 77, went peacefully home to meet her savior on May 27, 2021, with family by her side.

Born on April 6, 1944, to Harrison and Annie Cross, Wilma, formerly a resident of Florida, was a resident of Georgetown.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Milton Mansfield; her six children and 15 grandchildren: Nancy (Mervin) Shumate, of Athens, with Shelly, Bubba, Raymond and Derrick; Leslie (Tracey) O'Berry of Bainbridge, Ga. with Leslie and Travis; Tony (Lorrie) O'Berry of Old Fort, with Pam, Toni and Courtney; Charlene Mason and fiance Josh Evans, of Georgetown, with David and Breonna; Wanda Belanger of Beverly Hills, Fla., with Byron. Loretta (Tim) West of Williston, Fla. with Amanda, Alecia and Timmy; also several great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two sisters: Alice Lamb and Luese Comp, of Winter Haven, Fla.; one brothe,r Hurby Cross of Citronelle, Fla.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: C.L. Cross, Bob Cross, David Cross and Kenneth Cross; and two sisters: Jessie Mae Wollard and Irene Osborne.

Funeral for Mrs. Mansfield are Monday, May 31, 2021. Visitation from 5  to 7 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home at 2415 Georgetown Road N.W.

She will be deeply missed by her children, family and friends.
