Thomas Joe Leamon, 83, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, in Cleveland.
He enjoyed playing the fiddle to country music. He also enjoyed communication on CB Radio under the handle of Joy Rider. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Bradley County. He was of the Baptist faith, and knew the Lord.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bessie Leamon; mother and father-in-law, Stiles Mary McCarter; three brothers; seven sisters; four nephews; three nieces; three stepchildren; and two sisters-in-law.
Survivors include wife of 59 years, Juanita Leamon of Cleveland; son, Jim Leamon of Georgia; daughter, Debbie Leamon of Cleveland; stepson, Kenneth Healey of Cleveland; one grandson; two sisters-in-law: Margaret Leamon of Cleveland and Katherine Mason; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The funeral will be on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Pastor Jack Epperson officiating.
Interment will follow in Tasso Methodist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends today, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
