Thelma Jean Smith, 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, at her residence.
She was born in Calhoun, and had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 64 years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, taking care of people and feeding them, and taking care of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Joseph Coffman; husband, Larry Smith; son, Bobby Coffman; grandson, Bobby Coffman Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters: Sheila Reavis, Beverly (Bill) Sioutis, Martha Gibson and Tresia (Buford) Horton; four sisters; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2019, from 2 to 3 p.m.
A Celebrations of Life will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Doug Ingram officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
