Ronald Michael Parks, 60, departed this life on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at his residence surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Irene Parks; father, Frank Parker; children: Jamichael Parks and Osha Takaisha Forshee; sisters: Holly and Deborah Parks; brothers-in-law: Jan Parks, and Arthel Parks (Uncle Dewey); Phyllis Ann Thompson; granddaughter, Marley Forshee; and great-nephew, Dion Parks.
He is survived by his daughter, Diamond Nicole Thompson; siblings: Judy Jarrett, Donald (Melissa) Parks; grandchildren: Loyalty Serenity Thompson, Regina Sincere Williams, Cameron Malik Forshee, Terry Mason Forshee; son-in-law, Cameron Forshe; nieces and nephews: Tabitha Parks, Destiny, Donald (Amanda) Benton, Arianadejah, Ezra Dontreal, Corey (Tammy) Moore, Courtney Moore, Desmond (Cashay) Benton and Jan (Kristina) Parks, Debraill Parks, Earon Parks, Steven Parks, Jr., Sy Byers, Tyrezz (Michelle) Parks; great-nieces and nephews: Lanaya (Eric) Benton, Desmon Benton and Hannah Benton; great-great niece and nephew, Honesty Parks, Josiah Parks; cousins: Stephanie Parks, Davada and David Piersaul, Jaqueline “Rabbit” (Grady) Harris; special friends: Fetus Beck Terry & Angela Forshee, Purnella McCleary, Paula Parks, Sandra Benton, Howard (Arvilue) Randolph, Allen Jarrett, Mary Lee Parks, Diane Womac, Paul Barriers, Desmond, Jr. Skitty, Dez, Pig, Tyrezz and Corey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home-Cleveland, with the service to begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Tony Dodd officiating. Burial will be held at St. Elmo United Methodist Church Cemetery in Georgetown.
