Robert Millican, 95, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019.
He was born on Feb. 21, 1924, in Lindale, Ga., to the late Paul and Bessie Brown Millican.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably during World War II. He was of the Church of God faith.
He was a supervisor at Galaxy Carpet Mills in South Pittsburgh, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Above all else, he was a devoted and loving grandaddy.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Omadean Millican; and beloved daughter, Debi Adams.
Survivors include sons: Charles (Cyndi) Millican, and Wayne Millican; son-in-law, Bill Adams; brother-in-law, James Gamble; grandchildren: Bo (Crystal) Adams, Beth Adams (Toby) McKenzie, Brittany Adams (Andrew) Parsons, Jennifer Millican, Jeff (Christie) Millican, and Chloe Millican; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, in the Heritage Funeral Home chapel, Battlefield Parkway, with the Rev. Gary Harris officiating, and eulogy by Beth McKenzie.
Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
