Randall Dunn

Randall Dunn went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1937, in Bradley County. He was a poultry farmer for several years.

He worked at Magic Chef in Cleveland for 20 years. He then began his lifelong dream of driving a semi-truck, retiring after 30 years.

He was a loving husband, dad and papaw. He enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger. He loved the Lord and studying the Bible. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping. He was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Geraldine Dunn; parents, Robert and Edna Dunn; brothers, Robert, John, Homer, Jude and Clyde Dunn; sisters, Geneva Clounts and Juanita Harris; and grandchildren, Michael Calwell and Heather Jefferson.

He is survived by three children, Sandra Parker (Willie), Vickie Tidwell and Randall Ray Dunn (Dianne); seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Nipper; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Faye Beard.

Visitation will be at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home in Chatsworth, Georgia, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland at 10 a.m. on Monday, with children and grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
