Mary Jo Randolph, 82, of Cleveland, departed this life for her Heavenly Home on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was a devoted wife and an excellent cook who always enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She will be especially remembered for her chocolate pies. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph R. and Lillie Mae Myers Wilson; a son, David Bryan Randolph; two sisters, Susie Whited and Karen Wilson; and a brother, Kenneth Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald Dender Randolph; two children, Bill Joseph Randolph (Tami) of Fort Myers, Florida, and Donna Jo Callihan (Tim) of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Sophie Garland, Hunter Callihan, Maddie Randolph and Mason Randolph; two sisters, Shirley Wallace of Mount Juliet and Faye Bearden (Chuck) of Hickory, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Her Life will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Tim Paul officiating.
Interment will follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in West View Cemetery in Sweetwater, with the Rev. Keith Whited officiating and with nephews serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
