Marjorie Louise Johnson, 91, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
She was born on Jan. 6, 1931, in Asheville, North Carolina.
Marjorie served her country in the Navy, as a journalist, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved singing and was a member of Sweet Adelines. Majorie sang in her church choir and with the Gaithers at Lyon College. She was a very upbeat and positive person who loved spending time with her family and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Johnson; her son, Timothy L. Johnson; and her parents, William Arthur and Ruth Whitman Bramlett.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Billy G. Johnson (Pam), Michael D. Johnson, and stepson, Howard Johnson; her grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, Laura Briner and Mikayla Johnson; step-grandchildren, Brett Wapotish, Brooke Dudley and Lori Hines; eight great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements.
