Marce Jordan, 87, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2022.
He was retired from TVA and a faithful member of Parkway Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school and served and led many to Christ through the years. He also served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Elizabeth Jordan; first wife, Eula Mae Jordan; several sisters and one brother.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Sue Jordan; his son, Dale (Cathy) Prince; grandson, Shawn Hillman; granddaughter, Sabra (Shawn) Foss; great-granddaughters, Amber Stokes and her fiancé, Chase McRae, Kylee Stokes, and Cierra Stokes and her fiancé, Cody Brown; stepson, Tim (Joyce) Mullins; and grandkids, Rylan, Bentley, Kadyn, Baylor and Braylon Hyde.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with service in the chapel at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Joe White officiating and Spence Powell to speak.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with full military honors, a white dove release ceremony and bagpipes will conclude the service. Pallbearers will include Shawn Foss, Shaun Hillman, Chase McRae, Cody Brown, Tim Mullins, Dakota Hyde and Roy Williams. Honorary pallbearers will include Arnold Moss, Glen Davis, Dale Prince, Laurence Cotton, Danny Wilson and Danny Lawson.
