Lora Lee Overton, 57, of Spring City and originally from Cleveland, has gained her life as she has gone into eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by close family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
Born on Sept. 1, 1963 in Cleveland, Lora was a wonderful mom and Mimi who loved all her family fiercely. She is loved deeply by her three children and they are comforted knowing she is forever walking with Jesus.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Jeff Dunn; her mother, Sadie Dunn; her brother, David Dunn; and her brother-in-law, Dan Stevison, all of whom she is excited to see again.
Lora is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Mike Overton of Spring City; her son, Maron Jeffery Bandy and wife, Alisa, of Spring City; her daughters: Megan McCallister and husband, Jonah, of Cleveland, Katelyn Parson and partner Adair of Spring City; her grandchildren: Sebastian, Maddie, King, Carter and Binley; her brother, Don Dunn and wife, Linda, of Abingdon, Va.; her sister, Martha Stevison of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Spring City Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Dunn officiating.
