Larry Gamble

Larry Gamble, 66, of Cleveland, departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

Born on July 7, 1955, to the late R.L. and Pearl Gamble, he was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and was a member of Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church. Larry was retired from Cleveland Chair and enjoyed fishing, working outdoors, camping, going to the mountains, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Luther and Dennis Gamble.

Left behind to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Marian Key Gamble; children: James Gamble Jr. (Sherry), Traci Freeman, Timothy Gamble (Jamie), and Kynzli Gamble; grandchildren: Stephanie Allman, Justin Allman, Blake Gamble, Seatta Shaw, Hayden Seaborn, Courtney Taj, Kent Gamble, and Layla Gamble; as well as several great-grandchildren, extended family and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life and Homegoing for James Larry Gamble Sr. will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel White officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church on Tuesday.
