Kenneth Edward (shotgun) Russell, 73, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by family.

Born on April 23, 1949, to the late Ruford Russell and Alice Thompson, in Campton, Kentucky, Kenneth attended Spring Place COGOP. He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw and friend. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family, restoring antique vehicles, playing the guitar, building things, camping, telling jokes and listening to gospel/country music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella (Nichols) Russell; brothers, Chester Russell, Harry Russell and John Russell; and great-granddaughter, Wanda Lynn Snyder.

He is survived by his sons, Steven (Marissa) Nichols, Terry (Rose) Nichols and Ryan Nichols; daughters, Pearl Russell and Jenny (Jamie) Russell Hamilton; grandchildren, Hope (Domingo) Domingo, Adrien (Justin) Snyder, Hailee (Jacob) Bilbrey and Ronnie Busbee; great-grandchildren, Angelina Domingo, Alexiz Domingo, Azekiel Domingo, Remington Snyder, Henry Snyder and Ella Bilbrey; special friends, Robert Allen and Martha Dillard; and his companion dog, Bear.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the service in the chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wade Patterson officiating.

Burial will be held at Union Cemetery, 1127 Union Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
