Judy Kibble Pierce Whitacre

Judy Kibble Pierce Whitacre, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1942, in Cleveland. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and received her associate’s degree from Gaston College in Gastonia, N.C.

She retired from CPQ Color Chrome after more than 20 years of employment and spent her time enjoying her cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Kibble Jr. and Velma Lowe Kibble; and two brothers, Gregory Kibble and David Kibble, all of Cleveland.

She is survived by her daughter, Christie Ingram, and her grandsons, Kyle Ingram and Ian Ingram, all of Cleveland; her son, Bill Pierce and his wife, Amy, and granddaughters, Kelly Pearson and Abby Robertson, and great-grandchildren, Kimmie Robertson and Atticus Robertson, all of Gaffney, S.C.; a sister, Cheryl and husband, Edward Wilson, of Cleveland; a brother, Michael Kibble of San Miguel, Mexico; and several nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the SPCA of Bradley County, 1570 Johnson Boulevard SE, Cleveland, TN 37311.

A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
