Henry James Harrold, born Henry James Laub V, known by all who loved him as Jamie Boy, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at his residence in Ooltewah.
Jamie was born on Nov. 9, 1962, to Jim Laub and Frances (Wilkins) Wiesener, and adopted by Jeffrey Harrold. Jamie was a mason by trade starting at age 14. He was an authority on plants and an avid gardener. He loved bird hunting and skeet shooting.
Jamie is survived by his parents, Jim Laub and Marilyn; his mother, Frances Wiesener (Leon); Jeff Harrold (Lauri); sisters: Anna Davey and LaRae Schulz; son, Nicholas; daughter, Shannon; stepdaughters: Tiffany Barats and Melissa Hanneken; longtime companion, Irene Robinson; four grandchildren: Ryder, James and Samuel, and Andrew; three step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 7619 Blue Springs Road, Cleveland, on Saturday, June 12, 2021. The visitation will be at 1 p.m., with the service at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
