Frankie Russell James, 80, of Calhoun “graduated” to heaven on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of God at Southside.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie West Russell; husband, William “Bill” James; brothers: John Jr., David and Johnny Russell; and sisters: Dotsie Lemons and Doshie Yokely.
Survivors include her two sons: Danny (Amy) Lemons of Athens, and Brian James of Charleston; granddaughter, Jennifer Lemons of Chattanooga; two brothers: James (Margaret) Russell of Calhoun and Matthew (Della) Russell of Etowah; caregiver and niece, Brenda Coates of Calhoun; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
A Celebration of Frankie’s Life will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home, with Pastor Clint Pulliam officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home, prior to the service.
