It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest Terrell Cowan Jr., husband to Joyce Evans Cowan, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; son, Adam Cowan of Chattanooga; daughter, Allison Cowan Carroll (Jeroy) of Mapleton, Georgia; and cherished granddaughters, Addison and Avery Carroll, of Mapleton, Georgia.

No service is scheduled.

The family extends our sincere gratitude for all of the prayers, calls, cards, flowers and love shown during this time.
