Edward Earl Wade, 91, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1929 to the late Earl Thomas Wade and Marchie McAlister Wade.
Edward served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He worked as a paint and body man for Hall Chevrolet for over 35 years. He also worked at Bradley Farmers Market.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucile Cross Wade; wife, Bernice Wade; daughter, Betty Jo Swallows; brother, Doug Wade; sister, Barbara Wade; and niece, Jennifer Edgemon.
He is survived by his daughter, RuthAnn and Ed Swallows; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Joann Whitehead and husband, Don, who helped with his care; sisters: Sue Simmons, Patricia Brock and Cindy Ballard; and half-brother, Don Wade.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Cofer Cemetery in Meigs County with the Rev. Don Whitehead officiating.
