Derick Lamont Murray

Derick Lamont Murray, 26, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1996, in Bradenton, Florida, to Derick and Christine (Grudenich) Murray. Derick has spent the majority of his life in the Southeast Tennessee area. He loved his spouse, Juliana, and his beautiful daughter, Navianna, that was his world. He was a happy soul that loved to sing karaoke and listen to country music and enjoy a relaxing cigarette. He had a beautiful soul and went back to God that had given him that soul. His smile and laughter was loved by all. He was a protector to his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and was a master depantser.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Gudenich; and his grandmother, Rosa Krzysik.

Derick is survived by his spouse, Julianna Kimpson; his daughter, Navianna Leeann Murray; his father, Derick Lamont Murray Sr.; his sisters, Shelena Mckibbens, Michelle Murray, Hailey Murray and Ceola Murray; his nieces and nephews, G'miylah, Honesty, Skylar, Sara, Ruth, Zaniyah, Glover, Josiah and Temetreius; his aunts, Rudy Baliles and Rosella Kaylor; and uncle, Mike Woodby.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
