Dannie Callahan, 76, of Cleveland, died on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1944, to the late John and Kathryn Callahan.
Dannie was a truck driver by trade, and he had a love for old cars, attending car shows and was an excellent mechanic. Dannie also loved playing pool and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Matthews.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Dannie Wayne Callahan; daughter, Danielle Watson; siblings: Faye Watson (Ralph), David Callahan (Priscilla), Jeff Callahan (Deedra) and Janet Evans (Eddie); grandson, Tyler Watson (Brittany); great-granddaughter, River Watson; and the one he considered his best friend, Bennie. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held for Dannie at the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral today, May 23, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Chilcutt United Methodist Cemetery.
