Classes for private pesticide applicator licenses set

Posted 9/18/20

Farmers and rural residents with Private Pesticide Applicator Licenses that were due to expire in June of this year; you only have until the end of September to get them renewed.

Due to COVID-19, The Tennessee Department of Agriculture extended the expiration date of all Private Pesticide Applicator Licenses until Sept. 30.

To accommodate everyone who wants to renew their license; the UT/TSU Extension office in Bradley County is offing six separate group sessions that will meet the re-certification requirements.

These sessions will be approximately one-hour in length and you are only required to attend one session. Classes will be offered Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m.

In order to meet CDC and University Social Distancing requirements, the sessions will be limited to nine participants in each class. If none of these times will fit your schedule, the extension office will try to work with you at another time.
