C.L. Suits

Posted

C.L. Suits, Jr., 69, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020. For almost three years, he quietly fought a brave battle with prostate cancer.

A true gentleman, C.L. was a kind and gentle soul ready to assist any person or animal in need. He loved his family, and with his brothers, lovingly cared for his mother prior to her death last month in spite of his declining health.

C.L. was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. and Tuelon Louise Suits.

He is survived by his brothers: Chuck (Sarah) and Steve Suits, all of Cleveland. He will be missed by his nephews: Jason (Wendy) and David Suits and niece, Stephanie Goins; great nephew and nieces, Mack, Anna and Kara Suits and Logan and Easton Goins; and many lifelong friends. Stephanie considered him a second father and faithfully assisted in his care during his final days.

C.L. was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and Cleveland State Community College. Following a career as a draftsman in the appliance industry, he worked as a Realtor and most recently at Lowe’s.

The family would like to thank Caris Hospice for their care and assistance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 1  to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at Companion Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m. C.L. will be laid to rest following the service at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

Due to COVID-19, face coverings will be required, and the family asks that social distancing be practiced.
