Chris Moya, 44, of Rock Spring, Ga., and formerly of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021.
A lifelong resident of the Cleveland, and the North Georgia area, he was a member of the Journey Church of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Day; maternal grandmother, Margaret Hackney; and maternal grandfather, Roy Hackney.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ashley Moya; children: Lilly and Emily Moya, Will and Chase Ramsey; parents, Regina and Jim Hice; brother, Lindsey Moya; uncle, Randy Hackney; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Jeremy Compton; nephews: Hagan and Colson; and niece, Irie Compton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, with Pastor Tony Spencer officiating.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Journey Church of Cleveland or to Jones Memorial UMC Children’s Ministry.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
