Carolyn Ann Farabee

Carolyn Ann Farabee, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023, in a local healthcare facility.

She was the daughter of the late Edward Farabee and Eileen Jenkins Farabee. Her sister, Susan Farabee, also preceded her in death along with a stepson, Michael Smith; and her brother-in-law, Dale Goff.

Carolyn was an avid gardener who loved her plants, birds and enjoyed camping. She was an artist in painting, worked with pottery and made jewelry. She was retired from the financial services industry, having been the administrative assistant for Medford Retirement Group. Carolyn was a member of Westmore Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Smith of Cleveland; two sons, Gregory O'Bannon and Dayne O'Bannon (Barbi) of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Deanna O'Bannon Bryant (Frank) of Cleveland; stepdaughter, Stacie Morgan (Josh) of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Nadine Farabee Goff of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two special nieces, Ginger Goff Crawford and Shelly Goff.

A Remembrance of Life memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
