Brett Cade Stafford, 22, born on March 16, 2000, to parents Brian and Teresa Stafford, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2022, with his family by his side at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Cade was a lifelong resident of the Linsdale community in Polk County, and loved being surrounded by his friends, playing video games, and taking trips with his family to the beach.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tim Stafford and Dennis Stafford; and special cousin, Jonathan "Bubby" Pike.
In addition to his beloved parents, Brian and Teresa Stafford, he is survived by his cherished grandparents, Joyce Stafford, and Randy and Debbie Davis; brother, Kelby Stafford; special girlfriend, Diana Friauf; cousins, Briar and Briene England, Tripp, Karissa and Karington Woody, and Dawson and Braxton Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the private family cemetery located on Columbus Road in Linsdale, with Briar England officiating. Matt Ramsey, Braxton Davis, Justin Laughlin, Brent Stone, Levin Harz and Alex Rogers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Davis, Tripp Woody, Josh McGowan and Ethan and Evan Carpenter.
Family and friends will gather from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
