Betty Jean Jones Cloar-Branam

Betty Jean Jones Cloar-Branam, 91, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, Dec. 28, 2022, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Jim Jones and Nora Bishop Jones. Her husband, James W. Cloar, also preceded her in death; along with her daughter, Shirley Terrell; granddaughter, Laura Jean Terrell; son, Tommy Cloar; and her brothers, Robert Jones and Paul Jones.

She was a longtime member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, James R. Cloar and his wife, Loretta, of Cleveland; her daughter, Carolyn Terrell of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the request of the family.

Burial will be in Moores Chapel Cemetery.

Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
