Ana Marie Randolph Powers, 92, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Life Care Center of Athens.
A native and lifelong resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Edward and Alice Jane Bandy Randolph, and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Sonny" Powers; two brothers, Bob Randolph and Don Randolph; and one sister, Ruth Burnette.
She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and was a former employee of Morgan Manufacturing where she was an excellent seamstress. She was also a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include one brother, Jerry Botsford of Rome, Georgia; two daughters and son-in-law, Sheila and Freddie Womac and Connie Lynn; three sons and daughter-in-law, Allen Powers, Kenny and Jenny Powers and Ricky Powers; grandchildren, Carla (Danny) Roberts, Michael (Sheila) Watson, Cayla (Christian) Medder, Shannon (Jeff) Graves, Mark Lynn, Brian (Amy) Powers, Cheryl (Shane) Robertson, Prissy (Bod) Brock, Josh (Lauren) Powers, Kyle and Matthew Rowland, Brandon King and Brandon (Nanny) Cardwell; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home of Athens with the Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at McMinn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will include Michael Watson, Mark Lynn, Brian Powers, Josh Powers, Danny Roberts and Dylan Plaster.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
