Nancy Ann Cornish Nancy Ann Cornish, 67, of Cleveland, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1953, to the late Charles Harold Lemons and Shirley Jo Newman Lemons. Nancy loved to read, solve crossword puzzles, paint by number, and was an excellent cook. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. Especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Cornish; and infant brother, Randy Lemons.    more

Thomas A. Hopkins Thomas A. Hopkins, 88, of Cleveland for the past 44 years passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at his home. He was a member of the Calico Squares, Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Hopkins, who passed away in 1995; parents, Bernard and Mary Pyke Hopkins; sister, Gertrude Kannegeiser; and brothers: Richard, James and Bernard Hopkins. Survivors include his wife, Pat Killen Hopkins; children: Beverley Parker (David), Stefanie German (Barry), Michael Hopkins (Tammy), and Aileen Palmer (William); grandchildren: Todd Swafford, Brian Hopkins, Lacey Riley, and Erin Riley; great-grandchildren: Lakely Hopkins, Sophie Vargas, and Malachi Vargas; sister, Lillian LaVigne of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; and stepchildren: Carol Killen (Donnie), Sharon Renfro (Tony), and Roger Killen (Katherine). more

Luellen Wood Shaver Luellen Wood Shaver died peacefully on Thurday, May 20, 2021, in Cleveland, at the age of 75.  She is survived by her husband, James; children: Scott and Mike; sisters: Jackie and Debra; grandchildren: Caroline and Allison; and daughter-in-law, Susan.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Nikki and Winston Wood of Shreveport, La. Louellen was born at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier Parish, Louisiana.  She was a devoted wife and mother for many years and enjoyed being around family.   She fought a hard battle with Alzheimer’s disease, but always kept a smile on her face.  She was a strong Christian and is looking down on us now with her pretty blue eyes.  A graveside service for family will be held in Plain Dealing, Louisiana.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.  You are invited to share a personal memory of Louellen or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com.
