Paul Christopher Henson, life-long resident of Cleveland TN, passed away July 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 5, 1970, to Reverend Paul F. and Geri Henson and is survived by his wife Alicia Paige Goforth Henson and his precious daughter October Dawn Henson from his previous marriage to Rebecca Maples. Paul attended Cleveland High School and Lee University. He was well known for his quick wit and voted “Most Humorous” in high school. Most knew him for his exceptional musical talent as a vocalist and front man for Oteil and the Peacemakers, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Kings of the Killer Fish, and the Ridge Farm Band. He was a gifted writer, guitarist, and entertainer who captivated his audiences at venues all over the country. Although known publicly for his musical career, he was simply “PC” to many and felt most at home out on the TN River. He often enjoyed boating with family and showing off his wakeboarding skills. Most of all, his joy came from being a father to his lovely daughter Toby. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Paul F. Henson and his oldest brother, Tim Henson and is survived by his loving mom Geri Henson and his siblings: Steve Henson, Jan Crawford, Beth Harris, Tammy Shaw, Jamie Henson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private Remembrance of Life Service will be held on Sunday July 19 at the Jim Rush Funeral Home on North Ocoee St. but unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control we are not able to invite friends to join us to remember Paul. However, we would like to thank everyone who has shown love and kindness to Paul and our family during this time of loss.
