In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in conjunction with “Volley for a Cure,” Dr. Michael Hoops and the ladies at The Plastic Surgery Clinic are helping to raise money for the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation by “Flamingo Flocking.” To participate in a “Flamingo Flock,” call 472-1996 or 596-9159 at which time you can request to have a friend or “victim” flocked by as few as 10 pink flamingos or as many as 60. The flamingos will be placed in yards at night and then removed the following evening where they will then migrate to another yard. Removal of the “pink darlings” is done at no charge so fundraising planners urge those who have been “flocked” not to hurt or damage the pink-feathered friends.
