For $21 per month, every resident who subscribes to the program will receive a 95-gallon rolling cart which will be serviced once a week.
“After evaluating Bradley County’s residential waste collection market, we determined it was an opportune time to begin offering this program,” said Cheryl Dunson, Santek’s vice president of marketing. “We’re confident our service will be very competitive and will give Bradley County residents a professional choice when assessing their waste collection needs.”
Dunson said offering residential service is a natural fit to the company’s waste collection business since Waste Services currently provides commercial and industrial waste collection in the county.
She also said carts will add a positive feature to the local environment.
“When residents subscribe to our waste collection service, they’ll automatically receive a cart,” Dunson said. “The carts will allow residents to keep their waste off the ground where it’s more susceptible for bags to get broken or torn. This, in turn, will reduce litter and keep the local environment cleaner.”
Dunson said Santek Waste Services will be targeting specific geographic areas of the county with a comprehensive advertising campaign including billboards, print ads and door hangers. She said residents should call 476-0145 to learn more about the new service.
