She was born March 15, 1948.
She was preceded in death by her by father, GB Freeman and sister, Sandra K. Jones.
Survivors include her mother, Catherine Freeman; children: Buster Henry, Gene Henry, Teresa Neusel, and Sherri Bishop; grandchildren: Brandon McKlintock, Faith Henry, Katherine Neusel, Emilie Neusel, Dillon Bishop, Taylor Bishop, and Alisa Bishop; great-granddaughter, Marlie Hayes; siblings: Anna Murphey, Randy Freeman (Rhonda Cochran), Dot Freeman, Boyd Freeman, George Freeman (David Case), Robert Freeman (Kim Freeman), Margie Ross (Marvin Ross), and Jack Freeman; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today, Aug. 11, 2010, at Pope Avenue Baptist Church, 301 Pope St. in Athens.
