The bride is the daughter of William Dow “Buster” and Lea Stuart of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Stuart Sr., the late Dr. and Mrs. David N. Hawkins, the late Eva Hunt Hawkins and the late Dr. David N. Hawkins.
The bridegroom is the son of Dave and Jacque Goins of Cleveland and Richard Lewis Smith Jr. of Harriman. He is the grandson of the late Richard Lewis Smith Sr., the late Jewell Smith, William Lee Hendrix of Mobile, Ala., and the late Delnora Hendrix.
The wedding was officiated by Dr. T. Alan Johnston, a close family friend. Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Sandy Parkinson, organist; and soloists, Benjamin Biller and Meagan Jolley, both of Cleveland.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Page Durham of Nashville, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Meagan Jolley of Chattanooga, Joy Clemons of Chattanooga and junior bridesmaid, Sydney Durham of Nashville, the bride’s niece. Charley Durham of Nashville, the bride’s niece, was flower girl.
The bridegroom’s stepfather, Mr. Goins, served him as best man. Groomsmen were his brothers, Joe Smith and Gerrit Goins, both of Cleveland. Ushers were Benjamin Biller and Tyler Durham, the bride’s brother.
The reception was given by the parents of the bride at Cleveland country Club. Betsy Gentry of Cleveland served as wedding director. Shelby Goins, Alley Goins and Kaylee Templin, granddaughters of the bridegroom’s parents were bubble attendants. Edie Templin kept the bride’s book.
After a wedding trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, the couple is at home in Chattanooga.
