Thefts are investigated

The following is a list of burglaries and thefts reported recently in Bradley County. The investigation in each of these cases is continuing.

- Nearly $8,000 of materials was reportedly stolen from a construction site on the 6100 block of North Lee Highway Monday.

Russell Layne told deputies an unknown subject entered the construction site of the FSG Bank. Items reported stolen were a Black & Decker drill bit set, several Crescent wrenches, Klein Linemen pliers, pipe wrenches, Makita sawzall, Ryobi jigsaw, Warner ladder, extension cords, Mortis bit set, Buck Brothers chisel set, various size nails and screws, channel locks, measuring tapes and a leather pouch.

- A .38 handgun and prescription medication were reported stolen from a residence on the 3000 block of Harrison Pike Saturday.

- Two pistols were reported stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Chestuee Road Monday.

Stephen Wyatt told deputies an unknown subject entered his home through forced entry and took a .40-caliber Glock and a .40-caliber SIG-Sauer pistol. The handguns were reportedly valued at $1,150.
