The Mosby Park Swim Team lost its away meet at Ooltewah on Monday night which ended with a score of 413-338.
It was the first loss for the team in this 2010 season to give the Waterdogs a record of 2-1. Wins have come against Calhoun, Ga., and Chattanooga Golf and Country Club in previous meets.
Monday’s loss came despite a perfect evening for a pair of swimmers who had 19 points each: John Bryant and Christian Torbett.
Pete Davis boosted the final score by contributing 17 points. Sixteen points each were added to the total by Julie Bryant and Madison Pruett.
Adding 15 points was Sean Moran, while Will Hilliker brought in a dozen.
Other high point swimmers were Tanya Sharma, Katie Estes, Paul Montgomery and Bella Plate with 11 points each and B. J. Lineberry with 10 points.
The Waterdogs face Cumberland Youth on Thursday evening in the second of three away meets. The Mosby Park Swim team is a member of the Chattanooga Area Swim League (CASL) which is a summer swim team program. Through a unique mentoring program, the Waterdogs also provide free swim lessons.
CAT falls to Green Giants
The Cleveland Aqua Tigers hosted the reigning CASL champions, the Signal Mountain Green Giants, Monday night.
The Greenies defeated CAT 544-282. The Aqua Tigers are off this Thursday and will travel to Dalton Monday.
Ryan Crumpler led the Aqua Tiger attack Monday with 19 points, while Bri Foley helped out with 15.
Ross Mitchell pitched in with 14 points and CAT got a dozen points from Jason Chung.
Erin Stutzman, Meredith Borst and Megan Mitchell posted 11 points apiece for the home team, while Logan Stutzman, Adam Foster, Nelson Chung and Evan Stutzman collected 10 points each.
