All athletes interested in playing any sport at Walker Valley High School or Ocoee Middle School can get medical physicals done June 22 at Walker Valley at 4 p.m. Physical forms can be picked up at the schools or by going online at the TSSAA website.
BASEBALL
ADVANCED INFIELDER’S CAMP
Cleveland State Baseball Coach Mike Policastro will conduct the Advanced Infielder’s Camp for athletes ages 10-18 years old June 28-30 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Cougar Field. The cost will be $100 per camper and includes lunch and a T-shirt. The camp will consist of three days of instruction in all aspects of the fundamentals of infield play. AMY GEREN MCCOWAN CAMP
The second annual Amy Geren McGowan, Shooting and Fundamentals Camp will be held from 8:30 -11:30 a.m. July 5-8 at Ocoee Middle School gym. This camp is for boys and girls ages 5-13. The price for the camp is $60. Sibling discounts will be given. Camp price includes T-shirt, water bottle and other prizes. Concessions will be available for purchase daily. MARTY ROWE CAMP
The Marty Rowe Basketball Camp will be held June 28-July 2 at Walker Arena. The Lee Univeristy women’s coach will hold daily sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with full day adn half day sessions available. LEE BASKETBALL ACADEMY
Coach Tommy Brown will head up a pair of 2010 Lee Basketball Academies this summer with sessions running July 12-16 and July 19-23 for players ages 5-17. JR. GOLF CLINICS
Bill “Chief” Robertson will once again head up this year’s Junior golf Clinics with sessions to be held every Monday in June and July, with the exception of July 6. Boys and girls ages five to 17 are invited to gather at the Fairview Golf & Game Center on North Lee Highway for the weekly sessions which will run from 8 until 10 a.m. each Monday. BRADLEY PIGSKIN OPEN
The Bradley Central football Bears are spronsoring the first Bradley Pigskin Open July 18 at Chatata Valley Golf Course. The format will be a four-man select-shot with a longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and chipping contests. A pre-tournament lunch will be held at noon with play to begin at 1. Cost is $200 per team or $50 for individuals. For more information contact the course or the Bradley coaching staff. The tournament is limited to the first 20 teams to enter.

Bradley Central High school will be holding tryouts for the 2010 high school team June 15 and 16. The tryouts sessions will run from 6 p.m. until 8 each evening in Jim Smiddy Arena.
