Survivors include his mother, Betty Cate Bowman of McDonald; father, Walter L. Bowman of Dayton; brothers: Ronnie Bowman and his wife, Cathy, of Lafayette, Ga., William Bowman and his wife, Milenda, of Marion County, and their children, and Walter F. Bowman of McDonald; sister: Debra Hayes and her husband, Darrell of Cleveland; half-sister, Nancy Winkler of Collegedale; uncles and aunts: William Cate and his wife, Joyce, of McDonald, Carl and Reba Cate of Cleveland, Ronnie and Cora Cate of Riceville, Wayne and Cathy Cate, Jerry Cate, Donnie and Milessa Cate and Mary Anderson her husband, David, all of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Reverend Tim Woody officiating.
