The United Christian Church of Cleveland will hold seven days of “worship, ministry and teaching by some of the most anointed men and women of our day” and 42 years of church ministry beginning Sunday.

Forty-two years ago, a Holy Ghost-filled lady, Margie Minton, became the first pastor of United Christian Church located on Jacob Street off South Lee Highway in Cleveland.

This year Pastor Margie has returned to the pastorate along with her husband, Pastor Charles Poteat.

The public is welcome to see old friends, meet new friends and relive the Holy Ghost and Fire that is still prevalent in the Church today., the Poteats said.

On Sunday morning, Evangelist Dale McAnally will kick off the nnual International Conference at 10:30 a.m. McAnally is president of World Outreach Ministries.

At 11:30 a.m., Pastor Margie Poteat will step into the pulpit for the morning’s second session. Sunday evening at 6 , Pastor Charles Poteat will minister.

On Monday, evangelist and Bible teacher Sandy Brigdon will minister at 10:15 a.m. Evangelist Kenneth Copeland, founder of Cry in the Temple Ministries, will preach. Monday evening at 7, former United Christian Church pastor Anton Burnette will minister. Burnette is an evangelist and Bible teacher.

On Tuesday, Phyllis Milan, founder and pastor of The Church of Jesus, will minister at 10:15 a.m. At 11:15 a.m., evangelist and Bible teacher Richard Lesniewski will preach. David Hansel, pastor of the Living Faith Worship Center will minister in the evening service at 7..

On Wednesday, founder and pastor of the Mount Zion Prayer Center, Michael Obi, will minister at 10:15 a.m. Evangelist and praise and worship leader Danny Emerson will preach at 11:15 a.m. In the 7 p.m. service, Donald Soriano, president and director of Bethesda Ministries International, Baguio City, The Philippines will minister.

ON Thursday, Dean Crigger will minister in the 10:15 a.m. service. Crigger is a teacher, recording artist and professional musician. At 11:15 a.m., Fred Shmidt will minister. Shmidt is a Messianic Jew, evangelist and Middle East prophecy teacher. At 7 p.m., evangelist and gospel recording artist Danny Roberson will minister.

On Aug. 29, Jon Pierce, praise and worship leader and evangelist, will minister at 10:15 a.m. Soriano will minister at 11:15 a.m. Schmidt will minister in the 7 p.m. service.

On Aug. 30, a special fellowship breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall of the church. This breakfast will honor the missionaries, ministers and guest. Starting at 9:30 a.m., the breakfast will continue until the service is closed at noon by Pastors Charles and Margie Poteat.

Music will be provided during these meetings by Don Warren on the Hammond B3, the United Christian Praise and Worship Team — Meshell Lesniewski, Bridgette Weidner and Thomas Eaves; MercyPraise — Danny Roberson, Jon and Suzy Pierce; Barbara Odom and Priscilla Rousey, Sharon Foskey and very special guest Betty Jean Robinson.

On Aug. 31, Soriano will be the guest speaker. Sunday evening at 6, Shmidt will be the guest speaker.
