Sharon Kaye White, 64, of Old Fort, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, in a Chattanooga hospital
She was a devoted member of the Kinser Church of God for the past 30 years.
She was a loving wife and mother and a special person to all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Tolley McIntosh; father, Edward Theodore Higgins; stepfather, Edward L. McIntosh; and sister, Norma Jean Higgins.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Larry D. White of Old Fort; sons: Ronald E. Gore of Cleveland and James E. White of Old Fort; sisters: Dianne Strickland and husband, Curtis, and Donna Gail Link, all of Cleveland, and Joyce Faye Chancey of South Charleston, W.Va.; brothers: Ronald L. Higgins and wife, Linda, of Charleston and Bobby Wayne Higgins of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Kinser Church of God with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
Interment will follow in the White Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home.
