U.S. Forest Service officials at the Cherokee National Forest announced the Sina Branch Road in Polk County (FS Road #67) will be closed to through traffic from Aug. 4 through the end of September while culvert replacement work is being done at Davis Branch.

Although not open to through traffic, the Sina Branch Road will be open for two miles, if traveling from the south, and 7 miles if traveling from the north. If traveling from either direction the road is closed approximately 0.1 of a mile from Davis Branch in the Ocoee Ranger District.

The work on Sina Branch Road at Davis Branch is being done for sediment control and water quality enhancement.
