Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church will have vacation Bible school for children 5 through 12 years Monday through Aug. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. Drop off and pickup is at the front of the church. A small snack will be provided each evening. The theme is “The Wonder of Creation.” Kids attending will learn about the Bible by solving puzzles, playing games and singing. Vacation Bible school will be held at South Cleveland United Methodist Church, 1165 Church St.S.E.. Sunday through Wednesday, from 6 to 8 nightly, with Wednesday being a little longer for commencement and hot dogs.

Victory Drive Church of God, 1401 Victory Street S.W., will have its 4th Sunday Hymn sing Sunday at 6 p.m. Singers will be the Rev. Ray Branham and Family and the Vaughn Cunningham family and others. The Rev. Don Logan will be the guest speaker at 11 a.m.

Smyrna Baptist Church, Smyrna Church Road in Ocoee, will have vacation Bible school Sunday through Aug. 1, from 6:30 to 8:45 nightly. A meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:25 p.m. There will be classes for all ages. For van pick-up call Parm at 423-790-8124.

The congregation of Community Hall Church, 1305 6th St., will honor its pastor, the Rev. Jeannie Cissom, Sunday. A special program has been planned. Following the service, a covered-dish luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall. There will be no evening service.

The Jenkins family from Jamestown will sing at Little Conasauga Baptist Church, Sunday at 10 a.m.

Community Chapel Church of God, 1807 Blythe Ave., will have a special healing service Sunday at 2 p.m. Special singing and preaching will be by Margie Poteat. For more information call 423-479-2143.

Rolling Brook Baptist Church will have a special singing Sunday in the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Featured singers will be Royal Heirs.

Green Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Charleston will have its homecoming celebration Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. Minister Oscar Lewis will be the guest speaker and the Men of Praise will sing. Dinner will be served following the service.

Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 3043 Pleasant Grove Church Road S.W., will have its July singing “Praise Him! Praise Hymns!” Sunday at 6 p.m. The Trinity Trio will be the featured singers.
