Crashes, thefts investigated

Bradley County emergency responders went to a traffic crash on Freewill Road near Prospect School just before 8:30 a.m. today.

According to 911 reports, one person had to be extricated from a pickup truck due to entrapment.

Injuries were not believed to be critical, according to the report.

Bradley County Fire and Rescue, Bradley County Emergency Medical Service and Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

- Cleveland Police Department is in charge of a crash investigation, which occurred on Keith Street Thursday just after 5 p.m.

According to officials with CPD, a possible medical issue with one of the drivers could be the cause of the crash.

Cleveland Fire Department, CPD officers and Bradley County Emergency Medical Service paramedics responded to Keith Street near the intersection of Tinsley Park and discovered a red BMW had collided with another vehicle.

911 reports indicated the BMW had crossed the road and hit the other vehicle head-on.

Conditions of the victims were not available.

According to Lt. Robert Harbison of the Cleveland Police Department, Criminal Investigations Division detectives responded to the scene to aid in documenting evidence and investigation.

Bradley County 911 reports noted three people were taken to a local hospital.

- A dual-axle trailer was taken from a Strawhill Road address earlier this week, according to a report filed by Deputy Adam Beard of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

Beard named Jim Lackey as the victim.

The Homemart Dovetail 16-foot trailer was possibly taken during the weekend.

It was described as having an all-steel floor and a black plastic tool box attached to the front near the trailer’s tongue.

The trailer was valued at $1,600.

Investigation has been turned over to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
