Bishop Sanford Hopkins will be the guest speaker at the Victory Drive Church of God Sunday at 6 P.M.

Pastor Charles Vaughan invites you to come worship with them.

Hopkins grew up in a Church of God parsonage and after attending Lee College (now Lee University) he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and became minister of music for the Twelfth and Elm Street Church of God.

It was there he met Joan Wash and in 1962 they were married. Together they have experienced 52 years of ministry in the Church of God organization.

The Hopkins have two children, Debrah Redman and Sherri Kistner, and three grandchildren. They retired and moved to Cleveland.

He is an active volunteer at the Dixon Research Center at Lee University.

Prior to retiring, they served as senior pastors in his home state of Virginia, also in Michigan and North Georgia. Other church assignments include state evangelism director in Virginia, administrative assistant to the General Evangelism department and state overseer of Idaho/Utah.

The assignments have opened doors of ministry for the Hopkins taking them to camp meetings with national as well as mission field experiences.

The church is located one short block off 1400 S. Lee Highway at 1401 Victory St. S.E.
