Richeson holds a master of science degree from Lee University. Her passion is writing about her life challenges to help others. Her first novel will be released later this year.
Her story, “A Divine Goodbye,” is one of 101 stories in the book about a range of spiritual experiences from miraculous connections, answered prayers, divine intervention and inexplicable healing to angels and messages from heaven — proving miracles happen every day to people from all walks of life.
There is just a few weeks left in our Summer Reading programs. Don’t forget to fill out your reading log and turn it in to be eligible for prizes. The adult drawing will be held Aug. 1 and winners will be called following the drawing. A list of winners will be posted on our bulletin board and our website.
Wednesday’s matinee movie at 2 p.m. will be “A Bug’s Life” (Rated G), in the Community Room. Game time following the movie will continue until 5:30 p.m.
There will be a library tour on July 17 at 4 p.m. beginning in the lobby. The tour, led by our library director Andy Hunt, will highlight the behind the scene areas of the library. The tour usually lasts around 45 minutes.
The library’s book club will meet Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Carmichael House conference room. This month’s book selection is “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini.
