Kay Cox, vice president of the Aldersgate Garden Club, was presented a Certificate of Commendation from the National Garden Clubs Inc. for her leadership in conservation in the Individual Category as a member of the Aldersgate Garden Club.  She also placed first in District III and first in the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs Award in the Conservation Category. The certificate was presented by State Awards Chairman Julie Wilson at the TFGC state board meeting on June 11 at the Rawlings, in Joelton. The Aldersgate Garden Club is a member of NGC Inc., TFGC, District III and the Deep South Region. This Certificate of Commendation was announced at the National Garden Club Convention in Norman, Oklahoma, in May.
