Jerusalem Acres Church of God, 1826 Dalton Pike, will have Vacation Bible school, “Son Treasure Island,” July 8 through July 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and July 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fifth Sunday singing will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, 2781 Spring Place Road, Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. Dinner will be held after the service and Recognized will sing at 2 p.m.

Cedar Springs Baptist Church will have its Fifth Sunday Singing Sunday with Right Path as the feature singers. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be after the morning service. There will be no night service.

The Rev. Don and Sissy Stovall with Elijah, Sissy’s vent figure, will be the guest speakers and singers at Victory Drive Church of God, 1401 Victory Street S.E., Sunday at 6 p.m.

The Partin family will sing at Cohulla Baptist Church Sunday at 10:45 a.m.

Revival services will be held at New Liberty Baptist Church Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and weeknights at 7. Cody Zorn from South Carolina will be speaking.

The Christian Gospelaires will sing at Trinity Chapel, 2779 APD-40 S.E., Sunday at 11:15 a.m.

Prospect Church of God is having a barbecue today, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can dine in o have it delivered, and from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. dine in and take out. Barbecue sandwiches, chips, slaw, dessert and a drink are $7; and for children 10 and under, $5. For more information, call 423-716-2000.

Youth Sunday will be held at Bethel Baptist Tabernacle, 3165 Buchanan Road, Sunday.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Center Point Baptist Church, Lower River Road in Charleston, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be classes for all ages.
