Alan Clarence “Al” Henderson, 65, of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
He was born Oct, 11, 1948, in Madisonville, to Clarence “O.C.” and Eleanor Henderson.
He worked as a piping designer and enjoyed bear and boar hunting and being in the mountains. He loved his family and friends and had a sharp wit. He attended Hopewell Springs Baptist Church in Madisonville.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Pam Morgan Henderson; sons: Judd Henderson, Jason Mullis, Shane Morgan and Jason Morgan; daughter, Jessie Henderson; grandchildren: Isaac Morgan, Pandora, Ella and Elrik Mullis; sisters and brothers-in-law: Rhonda and Lee Fellows and Cindy and Melvin Passmore; brothers and sisters-in-law: John and Beverly Henderson and Don and Kim Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 5:30 p.m. today, June 26, 2014, at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chris Farmer officiating.
Pallbearers will be Randy Coffelt, Joe Leslie, Ronnie Miller, Steve Raybourne, Shane Morgan and Jason Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Gardener, Randy Hawk, Austin Miller and Jimmy Harrell.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville.
