GRANVILLE, Ohio — Meghan Powers of Cleveland was one of 362 students named to Denison University's 2014 spring semester dean's list by Provost Kim Coplin.

Students who achieve dean's list status have maintained a GPA of 3.7 or better (out of 4.0) for the semester. Powers is a member of the Denison class of 2016.

ATLANTA, Ga. — Rebekah Day of Cleveland earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2014 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

This designation is awarded to undergraduate students at Georgia Tech who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Lincoln Memorial University

HARROGATE — Lincoln Memorial University has announced that three local students were placed on the dean's list for the spring semester of 2014.

Katelyn Franklin and Andrew Lyles of Cleveland and Suzanne Hornsby of Decatur made the list.

To be placed on the dean's list, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 GPA for the semester.

Milligan College, Tenn. ― Milligan College named rising junior Jessica Davenport of Cleveland to the academic dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester.

She is a nursing major.

The dean’s list recognizes students who earn a GPA of 3.5 or above for the academic semester.
