The bride is the daughter of Bill and Louetta Moats of Benton. She is the granddaughter of the late Willie and Roscoe Moats and the late Lucy and C.L. Geren.
The bridegroom is the son of Sherri Blakely of Louisville Ky., and Andy Blakely of Cumming, Ga. He is the grandson of Dalton and Sue Blakely of Memphis, Patti and Jim Swallows of Somerset, Ky., and Ray and Dianne Matthews of Louisville. He is the brother of Aaron Blakely of Cleveland and the late Matthew Blakely.
The wedding was officiated by Dr. Robbie Speights, pastor of First Baptist Church of Benton, where the bride is a member. Nuptial music was provided by the Lee University String Quartet.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Chelsey Gibson of Cleveland as matron of honor and Shi Reagan as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Burrell of Cleveland, Madison Waters of Benton, and Lauren Blakely and Anna Blakely, both of Gainesville, Fla.
The best man to the bridegroom was Logan Dodson of Cleveland. Groomsmen included the bridegroom’s brother Aaron, Andy Forsythe and Dylan Guill, both of Cleveland, Grant Smith of Benton and Chris Miller of Athens.
Children in the wedding party were junior bridesmaid and groomsman: Bethany Matthews of Louisville and Nate Waters of Benton; flower girls: Isabelle Keller of Cleveland and Gracie Waters of Benton; and ring bearer Adon Keller of Cleveland.
The parents of the bride gave the reception at Black Fox Farms. Carol Yates directed the ceremonies. Kinsley and Kameron Didona kept the bride’s book.
After a wedding cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau, Bahamas, the couple is at home in Knoxville where the bride is employed by the University of Tennessee and the bridegroom is employed by Rural Metro.
Mrs. Blakely is a graduate of Polk County High School and received her bachelor degree in animal science at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mr. Blakely is a graduate of Cleveland State Community College with an associate degree. He attends the First Baptist Church of Benton.
