Students of North Cleveland Academy of the Arts presented their spring recital on May 22 in the chapel of North Cleveland Church of God.

Students participating were those of instructors Ruth James and Rita Ready.

Piano students were Danté Williams, Hannah Nation, James Huppe, Carissa Cossey, Sylvia Porter, Haley Esquinance, Nathan Collier, Josie Linam, Jake Linam, Mason Cobble, Bryan Hammer, Sadie Pace, Lia-dawn Wolfersberger, Micah Pace, Carly Coleman, Elisha Davis, Sophie Pace, Kylie Squires, Rache Ross, Luke Morrison and Alma Smith.

Hannah Nation was presented trophies for her recent participation in the Ocoee Music Teachers Association, spring auditions and National Federation of Music Clubs festival. She got a “superior” score at each of these events. She is a student of Rita Ready.

Danté Williams, who is taught by Mrs. James, was presented a trophy for scoring an “excellent plus” at the OMTA spring auditions. It was also noted Danté was the No. 1 runner-up at the Church of God junior talent competition in the piano solo division.

A reception was given after the recital.
