FASHION took center stage at the Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in late April as residents at the center dressed to impress with fashions that welcomed in Spring and raised the spirits of many at center. The annual Spring Fashion Extravaganza at Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Cleveland was held on April 24.

Family, friends and members of the community were invited to help with and attend the fashion show for the residents. All agreed it is always a very exciting time at Bradley Healthcare and the residents, staff, and visitors have a wonderful time during the fashion event.

“As you can see in the accompanying photos, the smiles on the participants’ faces are enough to make the community realize why we do what we do at Bradley Healthcare for our residents,” said Janice Allen, director of activities. “We feel they are truly part of our family.”

Allen sent out a big thank-you to all who came to help with hair and makeup. Donations to make the event more festive and enjoyable were appreciated — specifically The Town Squire for donating a tuxedo for resident Charlie Tanksley to wear while escorting the lovely ladies down the runway.

Her assistants, Eyvonne Westfield, Stephenie Crisp and Mirelys Rimada, were credited with working very hard to put together the wardrobe and sign residents up for the show.

Allen said volunteers who can come help with the show in 2015 would be welcomed. For further information on volunteering at Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, contact Janice Allen at 472-7116.
